<-- This is me, on my way down from Everest Base Camp! I'm not going to lie, it was mentally and physically tough. But that just about sums me up... I'm an adventure lover, who likes a good challenge.

I've tried a few careers in my time: I have a degree in Animation, qualified in accountancy (16-year-old me's back up plan!) and I worked in pharmaceutical events for a few years, but they just weren't photography!

It all started when I was 14 and was given my  first SLR - I was instantly  hooked. I worked solely with black and white film back then, and although I use digital cameras at weddings, I have continued that love for film processing (in my bathroom!) on personal projects. 18 years into being a professional photographer, I honestly feel thankful for being able to do something I love so much.

THE DREAMER

I let out a little 'eek' every time I find an old camera in a market or at a vintage fair and yes, I do use them!

When I'm not taking photos, I'm teaching art. I personally love sculpting, printmaking and textiles!

My little boy, Dexter. He's a complete mummy's boy and has me totally wrapped around his little paw!

I love music, gigs and festivals. Anything folkie or rock. Eddie Vedder would be my ideal dinner date.

festivals

My one true vice! I couldn't decide on a favourite... Sydney, Buenos Aires, Himalayas, Fiji, Hoi An, Banff?

travel

If I could live in water, I would! You'll regularly find me on my SUP or swimming in a river, even in the winter. In the finer months, I scuba and surf as often as I can.
